Wednesday 1st July, Thursday 2nd July, Friday 3rd July, Monday 6th July, Tuesday 7th July 2026
This face-to-face course supports primary teachers in developing confidence, skills and pedagogical understanding to use their school grounds and local environments as rich contexts for teaching and learning. Rooted in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and aligned with the Primary Curriculum Framework, the course combines immersive Forest School experiences with structured reflection, collaboration and School Self-Evaluation (SSE).
Across five practical and engaging days, teachers explore child-led, experiential and inclusive methodologies that support wellbeing, creativity and cross-curricular learning. Participants leave with practical strategies, ready-to-use ideas and clear action steps for their own classrooms and school communities.
