During this course participants will develop their understanding of the strong link between learning intentions and success criteria in the junior cycle science classroom. Participants will be introduced to formative assessment strategies designed specifically for an Irish setting. They will be provided with practical examples of how such strategies can increase confidence in using self-assessment and peer-assessment in their science classroom.
Con Hurley is a teacher with 20 years classroom experience. During that time he has led teaching and learning in a number of different capacities. He currently teaches in Clonakilty Community College.
