Izak9 reached the Irish market and our schools in 2015. In the autumn of 2015, Franz Schlindwein of Qubizm, developer of this exciting new learning concept, visited West Cork Education Centre and provided a demonstration of the Izak9 cubes to principals and teachers.

Izak9 is an exciting new radical and immersive 3D maths based active learning resource which enables children to learn and enjoy maths in a new and fun way. It is a fantastic hands-on resource for Maths in the Senior end of Primary School (3rd to 6th) or First year Post Primary. It is used widely in Northern Ireland in Primary schools and as a useful resource for 1st Year, Post-Primary.

The concept of Izak9 is based on the belief that we need to support children in developing a positive relationship with mathematics.

Children, in their formative years of Primary School, love learning through play. The learning here is rich, shared, open ended, investigative and most importantly, fun.

Through Izak9 we can offer learning through play to children in a way that can challenge, encourage, support, stretch and nourish a confidence and competence in their learning of mathematics.
