WCECW443 Developing Writing Craft in the Middle and Senior Classes

This webinar is being run in partnership with Limerick Education Centre, Cork Education Support Centre & Tralee Education Centre

In this webinar, we will explore how to support our older students’ writing through the use of writing crafts. Using the writing workshop model, we will show how writers can hone their craft when opening stories, showing how characters are feeling, slowing down the action etc. We will consider the different structure of informational text and the importance of audience and purpose when making decisions. Participants will receive a digital resource pack with materials to support classroom instruction.
