9th Annual Education Research Conference on Saturday, October 10th
The 3 Education Centres in Region 3, Kilkenny Education Centre, Waterford Teachers Centre,
& Co Wexford Education Centre are delighted to host our 9th Annual Education Research Conference on Saturday, October 10th.
Due to Coivid restrictions, the entire event will be online on this occasion, commencing at 10 am and concluding at 1 pm.
The theme of the Conference is 'Supporting EAL Students: What works?'
An expert panel of speakers will share their experiences and knowledge of supporting and educating those students in our schools who are learning English as an additional language, culminating in a key - note address from Dr Fiodhna Gardiner-Hyland, well known author, lecturer and expert in this area of education. The 3 Centres have great pleasure in announcing that the proceedings will conclude with a performance from the well-known and renowned Mount Sion Choir from Waterford.
At this event, the presentation of the 2nd Annual Louise Madigan Memorial Research Bursary, in memory of our dear colleague in WTC, Louise Madigan, formerly Research Conference Coordinator, to a Region 3 teacher / researcher undertaking a Masters or Doctoral Degree, will take place
