Múineann Clár na Réalta Goirme do dhaltaí bunscoile faoi chultúir Eorpacha, éagsúlacht agus an AE trí ghníomhaíochtaí cruthaitheacha agus tionscadail a chomhlánaíonn curaclam náisiúnta na bunscoile.

Is é aidhm an Chláir eolas agus tuiscint níos fearr a chothú ar an AE agus ar an slí go dtéann sí i bhfeidhm ar ár saol i measc daltaí bunscoile na hÉireann trí thionscadail agus trí ghníomhaíochtaí spraíúla cruthaitheacha sa seomra ranga.

Déanann bunscoileanna tionscadail a bhaineann le Stair, Tíreolaíocht, Cultúr agus Cruthaitheacht, agus Institiúidí an AE. Ghlac breis agus 1,000 scoil páirt ann ó seoladh é den chéad uair in 2011. Tá tuilleadh eolais faoin gclár le fáil ar an suíomh Gréasáin de chuid Clár na Réalta Goirme.

The Blue Star Programme teaches primary school pupils about European cultures, diversity and the EU through creative activities and projects which complement the national primary curriculum.

The aim of the Programme is to foster better knowledge and understanding of the EU and how it affects our lives among Irish primary pupils through fun, creative classroom projects and activities.

Primary schools carry out projects related to the History, Geography, Culture and Creativity, and Institutions of the EU. Over 1,000 schools have taken part since it was first launched in 2011. More information about the programme can be found on the Blue Star Programme website.
