Tá an Nollaig ag teannadh linn arís!
Tá scéim aistí na Nollag á rith ag an nuachtán ‘Réalt an Deiscirt’ (The Southern Star) do dhaltaí bunscoile ar fud Iarthar Chorcaí, i gcomhar le Ionad Tacaíochta Oideachais Iarthar Chorcaí.
Táimid ag iarraidh ar mhic léinn gearrscéal dar teideal ‘The West Cork Reindeer who saved Christmas’ (timpeall 200 focal) a scríobh, agus foilseofar rogha de na hiontrálacha is fearr san fhorlíonadh ‘Christmas in West Cork’ de chuid ‘Réalt an Deiscirt’ (The Southern Star) a fhoilseofar leis an nuachtán ar 21 Samhain, 2024.
Iarrtar ar gach scoil iontráil amháin a roghnú agus é a sheoladh, mar aon le grianghraf den pháiste, a (h)ainm, aois, ainm na scoile agus an rang ina bhfuil an páiste chuig: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

It’s that time of year again!
The Southern Star is running its popular Christmas essay scheme for primary school students throughout West Cork, in conjunction with the West Cork Education Support Centre.
We’re asking students to write a short story titled ‘The West Cork Reindeer who saved Christmas’ (200 words approx), and a selection of the best entries will be published in The Southern Star’s upcoming Christmas in West Cork bumper supplement which will be published with the newspaper on November 21st, 2024.
Each school is asked to select one entry and send it, along with a photo of the child, their name, age, name of school and class to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
